LexiLine Journal #31 - 2002 : Mullagharoy Meath County Ireland North Ecliptic Pole North Celestial Pole Draco Ursa Minor

Welcome!

.

I have uploaded

mullagharoy.gif and
mullagharoy.tif

to the files on Ancient Ireland.

The Mullagharoy Cupmarked Stone in Meath County supports the previous analysis of Newgrange as the North Ecliptic Pole. The Mullagharoy Stone has either Draco or Ursa Minor marked on it. Above the cupmarks there are round engraved circles marking
the North Ecliptic Pole and the North Celestial Pole.

I chose Draco for the cupmarks because I think Cepheus is pictured to the left - but this is still speculative. The cupmarks could also be Ursa Minor since the central larger circle is also likely the North Ecliptic Pole, which would make the cupmarks Ursa Minor. But whether it is the one or the other is not a major matter for the basic decipherment as such, although it would have to be more strictly determined down the road.
